I applied RIR (labor) as Programer Analyst (030.162-014), But my labor certified copy it say job code as 030.062-010 (Software Engineer).
which code should i follow for future reference like AC21?

I have just gone thru March recording of IV lawyer call and the below caught my attention. Ms Susan mentioned that any company name change after I140 approval has to refile I 140. I am utterly confused as that particular scenario affect me and i would like to know what best course of action i can take at this point.
I filed LC and I 140 with company A
My I 140 got approved
Before i filed my I 485 my company changed its name
I asked my attorney at that time if we need to take any special action
Attorney said they can just add an amendment while applying for I 485 about name change and apply with approved I 140, which is with old company name.
I and my wife work on EAD for past 3 years and i am still employed with same company. I wonder which one of above attorney is correct and what i should do.
Does the fact that my I485 is pending for more than 180 days after approval of my I 140 will come to rescue in case of question about company name change (AC21)

In the I-140, Immigration Petition for Alien Worker, under �Basic information about proposed employment�, in the �Wages per week� column it is written as $XX,XXX/yr.
Is this the amount my employer offered in the full time position that he offered while processing my GC?
Do I have to make sure my salary with new employer should be more than $XX,XXX/yr?
Also my original employer who filed my GC mentioned my designation as Software Engineer � Applications, Do I need to have same designation in the new firm? Or can it be anything under Software Engineering like design, programming, analysis,developer,data quality,testing etc?

My attorney has submitted the documents for I140/485 concurrent filing. UPS has messed up and they lost my documents.It contains original documents for applying I140.
I am wondering if there is any chance that I can send photocopy of documents to USCIS explaining them the situation as I do not want to miss the chance of deadline Aug 17th. Could anyone please suggest me? Did anyone experience the same situation before.

My PD is Feb 2007, EB3 category.
My I-140 is approved and I485 was filed in July 2007 (pending more than 180 days)
I have an EAD.
My employer revokes the I-140 for people they lay off. Does the RFE come immediately when they revoke the I-140 or does it come at the time of adjudication - which in my case is a long time away since my PD is Feb 2007 in EB3 category.

Wow ! I am in exactly same situation. I talked to national service center and they said they will talk to only employer or attorney. I told attorney about it and they said, dont worry , there online status system is screwed up so just wait for decision snail mail.
After seeing your mail, I am susoecting VSC cases are having issues with status search. so I would say that dont worry.

It's really hard to get visa. You should hold green card to bring your spouse to united states or else its tough. Maybe you can ask your wife to come through F-1 visa, you both can purse your studies and also stay together. The other option is to go through visitors visa, but in inteview they might ask questions make sure you people answer honestly.

Please help me to get out of this confusion.
My H4-H1 Adjustment of status is approved and i have Advance parole and EAD with me through my husbands i485 application.I need to travel to india in jan/feb 2008 for 2-3weeks.I may not be able to go for stamping at that time.My H4 visa stamp is valid till sep2008.My H1 approval notice is valid till sep2010.
My question is,can i travel to india and come back without H1 stamping using Advance parole?If i come in using Advance parole can i work again on H1 or do i need to use EAD?

Hello, I've been offered a job and have less than 180 days since applied for I485. I have EAD document thourgh my wife as well.
In case I accept the job offer do I need to withdraw my pending I485?. If will work part time with my current employer will my application be affected in any way?

I have two I -140's approved with one PD from end of 2005 and other end of 2006 both on EB2. I 485 is based based on 2nd one in 2006. So question is can I port 2005 pd to I 485 based on 2006?
Some where I heard that you can only port the PD when your 2nd is application stage and is pending. but here it is applied and already approved. Is it a good case for Porting PD or interfiling?
And by the way what is the difference between porting and interfiling?

Porting and interfiling are pretty much same ...( some use interfiling to use cross changeability ) .

yea i got some work too, actually built a nice relationship with a cool company. i've also found that some people offering jobs are either full of you know what or they don't pay very well.
