The ipods do not have enough individuality/functionality to do this, without changing the entire underlying scheme. (Generally they fix this in Itunes).
What they do is prevent unwitting individuals to participate easily in large scale piracy, but allow local piracy.
This tends to INCREASE sales, not DECREASE sales. Local piracy creates obligation and requires work. Both of these create demand for legal product interestingly enough. (Large scale piracy does nothing for demand, but DRM does not affect large scale piracy).
At anyrate, the apple system is well done, the movie folks should just take thier money, and I suppose complain loudly, but just take the money

If you live in the USA or Japan, you need a VCR or VHS tape player, that accepts PAL cassettes. Then you need something like this to capture the video onto your Mac: http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/products/Video-Capture/product1.en.html
You can also use MRoogle (http://mroogle.edesignuk.com/) or/and the search engine of your choice to look for the many guides on how to capture VHS tapes onto a Mac.

The better tidbit from Wikipedia is that Data from Star Trek had a capacity of 100 petabytes. So, Apple has a ways to go until they get something really interesting. iData?

And it's a new one for the dictionary in Chrome on Windows, too. Petabyte gets the little red squiggly underline. But Safari on the Mac is hip to the lingo and knew the spelling.

I have a macbook pro which only has 2 USB ports. I use a USB bar that allows me to ad an additional 4 ports but they don't have a very strong connection. I can't use external drives or charge my iPhone.
Are they are good USB bars that work well with a mac?

to those who switched online, can you confirm that i would need to select the anymobile option and unselect the unlimited text option, as the anymobile includes both? i wasnt to sure so i decided to cancel

Read the product reviews before buying. Some people are complaining that some games are impossible to play on the iPhone screen. Additionally, some games just can't cross over into a touch screen environment because of joystick limitations.

I wouldn't mind it. then again im not a parent, just 19 myself. but when my girlfriend turned 18, and i just a month before, my parents were really against my girlfriend (of 2 years at the time, i might add! so it was no slutty one night thing) sleeping in my room. though i think it was because of my sister being only 11. suppose they wanted to keep her innocent to the notion of me and my girlfriend having sex i suppose.
we sleep in the same room now but they think she sleeps on the spare bed :D

Kindle Free 3G + Wifi version... was only expecting the wifi version, and was pleasantly surprised. :)
Other than this... I got a safe and Blur for Xbox 360. Oh, and Santa had my full carry pistol permit delivered in the mail Christmas Eve! (hence the safe)
Overall, good, lean Christmas. I didn't get stuff I didn't need. So glad as to have not had my loved ones waste their money on unnecessary items.
