My current title is Software engineer and my company is promoting me to Senior Software Engineer. I am on H1 and have filed I-485 in last July and also have approved I-140. This is just the title change and my duties will be same.
(1) Does my company need to file H1 amendment to keep me on H1 or do I have to necessarily switch to EAD?
(2) Does anything changes with respect to GC process?
(3) Do I need to have any specific paper work from the my company that job duties are same?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Recently my I-140 petition for EB2 was denied on educational grounds . The employer opened an MTR/appeal.
Is it possible to re-file the I-140 petition in EB3 using the same labor certification, while the first I-140 is pending appeal at AAO.
Not while an appeal is pending. Even then, it depends on what the job and educational requirements were on the labor application. What was the reason for EB-2 I-140 denial?

Did he file your H1B using desi body shops? without interview or knowing you ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your H1B start date is October 1, 2009.
Your H1B approval notice does not have I-94 attached, because you are not applied H1B while in USA. So you need to go back to home country to get visa stamped and start working in H1B ASAP.

My LCA for H1B extn for 6 years is approved on July 15. But still my company lawyer is not ready to file the extn. He keeps on saying that I didn't get the approval notice from DOL, It's certified online only, So without physical approval document, I cannot proceed.
Guys, Since it's certified already, Can he get a LCA detail and print using his account from iCert?
I also checked the online status in iCert (he gave me the case No), the status says certified.
So in this How long DOL took to send the physical copy of LCA?

Lets say if campany A keeps paying me (runs my payroll with salary specified on my H1 petition) Will that keep my H1b alive and active when i work on EAD for company B ? ( Did i get that right )
Will USCIS know that i have switched jobs in between ?
What does IMHO mean ?

I got an RFE (first time) for my 485 and my lawyer responded (sent it through post) on August, 9th, 2010. I am wondering, how long USCIS takes to update the status online? I just want to make sure USCIS received my RFE, that�s all I care.
